I hope you find this workshop useful and consider taking this information back to your school to create a site in iWeb with a news blog, calendar and map.
Once the site itself is setup, you will never have to edit it very often (if ever). You can keep the blog up to date by bookmarking the blogspot url in a web browser and simply do a quick copy and paste from the school newsletter (whether the principal or admin staff type the newsletter,
Add events to the calendar and embed the calendar into the website. You could even add it to the school intranet - make it as useful and accessable as possible. Whether at home or at school, teachers, students and parents can keep up to date with school events.
